OSB and Stainless Steel (BIMB)

This impossibly small kitchen's most striking feature is the unususal choice of materials: jet black countertop and stainless steel for wall coverings that are contrasted with the furniture's pressurised woodchip fronts. The strong waterproof finish makes it a very resilient material, and when it is paired up with a lot of metal accessories, the overall feeling is strongly modernist-industrialist.

For an American Family (MJDI)

When you have six children to look after and most of whom like helping in the kitchen, you have to provide a lot of space for the small members of the family. This is what happened in this kitchen, where all the glassware are stored in the upper cabinets but there's enough room for the mugs within reach of the children.

Mahogany with Colours (ERNO)

Strong and bold colours dominate this large, U-shaped kitchen where a part of the counter serves as a divider from the dining area. The dark colours give an ideal background for the Provencal style tiles above the countertop. The theme of the deep blue painted glass picture of the cabinets reappear in one of our projects several years later...

Under the Stairs (SBPA)

This comparatively small kitchen is embedded in the small space between the stairs leading to the bedrooms and the chimneys on the other side so all we could do is fit everything comfortably in the given space.

The Blue Kitchen (BRKA)

When the prospective owners of a newly built blocks of flats are given the chance to have their flats designed separately, then a more economic and imaginative floorplan can be created - rather than the usual rectangular series of rooms. In this flat we used the centre of the given space to accommodate the integrated kitchen area in the owner's favourite colour: Aegean Blue.

Tiny Studio Kitchen (VVTH)

Although the studio flat has a tiny kitchen, it houses everything one might need in terms of accessories and kitchen utensils. The dining table serves as the closing unit and the counter screens the longer countertop from the living area.

Playful Windows (GEVI)

This unique kitchen's brightly coloured tiny cabinet windows were painted separately to create a playful atmosphere in a small and not particularly overlit space. The colour scheme reflects the colours of the sea, the greens and blues give it a certain youthful freshness.
